What people have to say
"Amelia helped me to rediscover and polish the skills that I hadn't had the opportunity to call on for a while, giving me the confidence to audition, and then when cast, to step up and work with talented professionals. Amelia's knowledge of vocal technique and how to apply it in a musical theater context is excellent - clear, gentle, disciplined, supportive and encouraging. She's also fun to work with!"

Barbara, Student, 71
“Amelia Fe Camacho is the consummate musician. She is the musician that other musicians love to work with! Whether as a cantor, a choir member, a conductor, a flutist, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her work. No matter the setting, her musical commitment to excellence, and her sensitivity to those around her combine to touch the hearts of all who are blessed to hear her."

Craig, Director of Music
“Amelia brought together my family’s favorite songs and led the most perfect ceremony. She was always accessible, answered all of our questions, and helped us select the perfect pieces. When my husband and I were sitting on the altar, I was in complete awe of the music. We are so thankful for her help and we would recommend her services to anyone!”

Commonly Asked Questions about Voice Lessons
Where is your studio located?
My studio is located just outside of Crozet, approximately 15 minutes west of the City of Charlottesville and 5 minutes from downtown Crozet. Parking is available.

How long do I need to take lessons before I see results? How do I know it will be worth the investment?
That depends on your age, how ingrained certain habits are in your singing, the frequency of lessons and how much you practice on your own. In general, the more students also invest in practicing on their own, the sooner they start to see positive changes!

Do you teach piano?
I am not currently offering private piano lessons. However, I regularly incorporate basic music theory, ear training, and sight-reading into voice lessons—especially for students without a background in piano or another instrument.

If you're looking for dedicated piano instruction, I’m happy to recommend my friend and colleague Paulius Sinkora. He teaches both out of my studio and offers in-home lessons in and around Charlottesville.
